Anupam Parganiha grew up in Bhilai, a small township reminiscient of numerous townships in India. Although he left Bhilai at the age of 20, Bhilai stayed with him via numerous friends. shared stories and his visits back home. His work took him to various countries and he now lives in the USA. Watching recent web series like Kota factory and Panchayat and having watched Maldugi days as a child, he was inspired to create his generation stories of India in the 80s. The series Colony Diaries is the first step towards that vision.
